Why Rebrand?

30 Burgers is a well-known burger chain restaurant in New Jersey. It offers fresh angus beef burgers with innovative toppings. It's brand promise is to rival any "burger joint" in the country. The company has plans to expand it's restaurants outside of the state, and part of the business strategy is to refresh it's brand identity to be more competitive with other healthy fast food restaurants.

The design strategy aims to shift the brand identity from appearing like a fast food chain (i.e. McDonalds, Five Guys) into a clean food place (i.e. Panera, Chipotle). The current logo includes a burger icon that has brand recognition, but the lo-contrast, dull colors do not look appetizing. The strategy is to keep the red and yellow colors, brighten them up, and add green to communicate fresh food. In addition, a new social media campaign would be created to announce the expansion and keep customers updated on new burger creations.
